Went by Gander Mountain in Salisbury, Md. this morning to get some .22 ammo. Disappointed with the price and selection of .22 ammo, but did see a nice pre-war .38 Speciai M&P, looked all original with a 5" barrel, nickel finish (approximately 85% with some dark spots and cloudiness), but what made it stand out was some of the nicest pre-war grips I have ever seen. No medallion, very sharp checkering, no chips, etc. I didn't have a camera with me, so no pics, (and I didn't copy down the serial number!) but I think it might be a worthy addition to someones M&P collection. Price was $349.

I would have made a move on it, but my money won't be right for another gun buy for another month or so, and when I do make a move, it will be for a South African Victory Model, a pre-war, 4" blued M&P, maybe a Model 547 9mm M&P, perhaps a Model 58, NYSP Model 520, something like that....

I understand Gander Mountain will ship handguns to a store location in your state if you are interested in buying, so this revolver would be available to you if you are interested.
