Charlie,
I've succumed to the "Victory addiction", and picked up three in the past couple of months. All appear to be original with matching numbers. I've sent for the letters on all three, and will gladly share that info with you when I get it. Sounds like S&W is a bit backlogged at present.
In the meantine, can you give me any info as to when and where these shipped? In the photos, the top one is an unmarked DSC gun serial #V506xx, the middle one is "US Property GHD" marked, serial #V2652xx, and the bottom one is "US Navy" marked, serial #V576xx. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks again for all your assistance in supporting my latest "addiction".
John

Hi John:

That is a very handsome lineup you have there. I certainly understand the motivation!

Based on the information contained in the Victory Model Database, which my pal LWCmdr45 and I maintain, I can estimate for you that your revolvers were likely shipped from the factory as follows:

V506xx shipped July, 1942
V576xx shipped August, 1942
V2652xx shipped May, 1943

We would like to add your data to our Database. We prefer to use complete serial numbers as that allows for better accuracy, so if possible would you please email me with the complete serial numbers? I can be reached at cflick@seippflickNOSPAM.com and remove the NOSPAM, of course.

Thanks very much. I hope that this information has been helpful to you. We will look forward to hearing more when your factory letters arrive.

Regards,
Charlie Flick
