I found this Victory Model earlier this summer wearing a nice set of grips from the 1920's. Nice looking, but not correct. I tried to buy a set from a "Seattle-ish" Forum member, but was left high and $45 dry (but that's another story).

I really wanted to contrast that experience with what happened when Fellow member Lee Barner, offered to send a couple old sets he had lying around my way - gratis!

After a little cleaning - you can see the results. The second set will be passed on to someone else (also gratis) when the opportunity arises.

Thank you very much, Lee! I'm glad this Forum has members like you in its ranks.

Jerry

I don't know any of these gents, but agree that Lee deserves kudos for his generosity. Also nice that other folks take time out to acknowledge it.
Regards to all.

Lee is what the REAL gun community is all about. He is a knowledgable and generous individual. Having never met the man I have more than a great respect for him.

I also received a pair of Victory grips from Lee also. I tried to pay him for the grips. I begged him to let me at least pay for the shipping ....he told me he was just happy to have helped me. There are not many like Lee. The world would be better if there were more like him.
