It's been a couple of months since there was any activity in this thread, so here are a couple more Triple Locks to get it back to the top.
This well-used one shipped in 1913 to New Orleans, LA: This one shipped in 1917 to Louisville, KY: And finally, this one shipped in 1916 to Alexandria, LA: Take care, Steve Bryson ------------------------------ "Right is right, even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone does it." |

I only have one to offer. Standard 6 1/2 inch 44Spl originally shipped to William Read & Co, Boston, Mass on Oct 20th 1908. Went back to the factory in 1996 for refinish.

Steve,
I am from Alexandria, LA, I am curious if you have who the TL was shipped to? I have found a only couple that area in 35 years of looking, one a 4 inch nickel that was traded years ago and a 6 1/2 target that I have not yet lettered. Thanks, Dick |

Hello Dick, It shipped to Brown, Roberts Hardware & Supply Co. in Alexandria on November 17, 1916. The 5" one shipped to Stauffer Eshleman & Co., Ltd. in New Orleans on November 4, 1913. Take care, Steve Bryson ------------------------------ "Right is right, even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone does it." |

Steve,
Thank you very much. May father was a carpenter and contractor and worked for Brown, Roberts during the 50's and early 60's. They were the typical large regional hardware distributor and sold other things including building supplies and sporting goods. Along with many companies of their type, they closed in the 70's, due to time passing them by. I remember going there with my dad, who died in 1972. Thank you for the memory. Dick Gremillion |
