Looking for set of original wood checkered "conversion" from round to square butt grips to fit this revolver. Prefer magna style with medallions.

I am not sure what you are hunting here- you are requesting a non-existent type of grip.

Does your gun have a step halfway down the backstrap? If so, it is not a 32 Hand Ejector, but rather a 32 Regulation Police model.

Lee, can you post a photo of a 32 Regulation Police with the step halfway down the backstrap. I almost bought one with that cut recently but passed because I had never seen such a cut and was afraid of non factory gunsmithing. As I recall, the serial number was not on the butt but on the frontstrap (where the fingers go when you hold it).

Thanks!

The number on the frontstrap indicates that was a Reg Pol- they put them there because the grips cover the butt.

Thanks Lee. I could kill myself. The revolver was almost mint, matching numbers, nickel plated with pearl grips and the dealer wanted $225 for it. He thought that somebody cut it for a shoulder stock so thats why he was selling it so cheap.

I cannot believe I was so dumb.

Hi Lee,
There is no cut backstrap. I just want to rerplace the broken plastic grips with wood. I think I made an error in asking for "magna" style, but the grips I would like should be checkered with S&W medallions. Thanks for the photo.
