I recieved a letter on my 44 Frontier Model (.44/40 WCF) after a short 4 month wait. It has some interesting information, most notably the cost of the gun when it was new, back in 1892.

Its not a shooter, more of a wall hanger, but I am proud of it. Anything that retains a relatively original form after 116 years is a collector to me. It was shipped to E.K. Tyron, in Philly on August 27, 1892.

Thats a cool old revolver and it still looks pretty good after 116 years. It will make a fine display.

Hey Rick, My New Departure .32 was shipped to Tryon on January 1, 1892. Maybe your pistol and mine were shelfmates!! Regards, Ray
