Open a free web account with photobucket, size your photos to be no wider than about 800 pixels and upload them to photobucket. Then copy the bottom address under each photo and paste it into your post here.

Not sure my lowly example fits with these great looking pieces. Finish didn't hold up well, but hardly fired, and solid as a rock. 38 DA. (Came with original box.)

New Model #3 44 Russian w/ 5 inch barrel and adjustable sights. H/R grips. Original nickle finish. Shipped very late for a #3,,Dec/1915. Still considered an antique I'm told because the frames for the #3's were all made before 1899 (?). Doesn't make any difference here anyway, it still has to be registered.

2152hq Beautiful NM#3. All original NM#3's are considered to be antique here in Canada and, therefore, do not have to be registered. What country do you live in?

reldor Very nice old gun you have there ... and judging by the medals, you are enjoying it!

To all: It is a real treat to enjoy the photos you all have been posting. It's almost as good, if not better (because of the beautiful photos) than a trip to a museum.

The Empire of New York,,now presided over by 'The Pointed One',,Herr Spitzer...and his trusty sidekick A/G Andy 'The Hair' Cuomo.
Though the fact that this has to be registered has nothing to do with him or his short reign. The nearly 100 y/o Pistol Permit law in NYS (Sullivan Law) does not recognize 'Antique Firearm' (pre 1899 Federal Classification)for handguns in general and therefore all must be reg. There is a small window for 'unloaded muzzle loader, C&B or replicas of same handguns that do not have to registered, but if you own proper components to do so,,then if must be registered.
****************************
Currently a bill in the state senate to close that 'loop hole' and put ALL antique guns...Both long guns and that small group of handguns into the same status as modern guns for the purposes of transfer..ie; 4473,,NICS, & registration for the handguns. NJ already has such restrictions. Hillary would like that for the whole country I'm sure to make the Village safer.

This is the only topbreak I own; it's a nearly mint condition .32 safety hammerless, 3rd model. I bought it only because it called my name real loud. I believe it's unfired. My Jinks letter says it was shipped in 1921.

Frowner Well I don't own any, but my buddy has two that he let's me drool over. The nickled gun is a 3-digit serial numbered Model 3 1st American in .44 caliber, all original, even has the "oil weep hole" that I think only the first 1500 guns had. And the other is a Model 3 Schofield that was offered in 1999 or 2000 I believe. Gotta get me something like these someday... Shoo

There are some beautiful revolvers and photography on this thread. Here is my only top break and my first model hand ejector that belonged to my grandfather.

HI
There is one S&W in this mix along with two H&R and 1 IJ . Old and well used, just the way I like them.
