The best cross draw bar none is the cross from Bell Charter Oaks. It is "the Charter Jet" - a snap-on style holster with an extreme rake and it can easily be carried in the cross draw position as well as the appendix position. This style is an easy on easy off variety because it has two belt loops on either side that snap on and off so that you do not have to remove the belt.
Great holster, fantastic quality, super nice holster maker. At least you owe it to yourself to call them.

i use the Andrews Carjacker when driving. It snaps around the waist belt of my seatbelt and I forget it is there. I simply transfer the gun from the Carjacker to my hip holster as I am exiting the car. Very well made holsters.

Another Andrews Carjacker user here. Love it on those longer drives. Easy on and off. I usually secure it to my seatbelt and then tranfer from IWB.

Thanks for the kind comments. Smiler

Actually though, I believe you are referring to the CO-PILOT crossdraw. The CHARTER JET is a forward cant design and cannot be worn as a crossdraw.

CO-PILOT CROSSDRAW

Pictured below is another you may wish to consider. Newly designed this year and made predominantly for use in the seated position. I designed this specifically for folks who are confined to wheelchairs or have to use power chairs to get around.

You are absolutely right - it is a co-pilot.
I wore it either cross or in the appendix position and my J frame concealed very well.

Since the original poster of this thread didn't indicate whether he was planning to use an auto or revolver, I thought I'd show a photo of our auto model. Pictured with Springfield Armory Officer's model 1911. Smiler Cheers!

Call Sam Andrews and he will make one for you. It will take 3 months but worth the wait.
