FYI: Kramer has some horsehide scabbard holsters for sale on ebay right now. $65 in black for J frames.

Just a satisfied Kramer customer and thought some here might be interested in a great holster at a great price.

I got in on that deal and that is one tight holster on the draw. I have several belt of Kramers belt scabbards and none of them have ever been this tight.

RowdyOne: Man am I truly sorry for recommending this. I never did receive mine and, after much debate via email, ended up cancelling the order and got a refund.

I will NEVER recommend that seller again and am truly sorry to hear about your troubles.

Maybe they're knock-offs.

Yeah, I'd love to know who the seller is. I've got a stack of Kramer vertical belt scabbards (including one for my 640) and they're awesome. I've had one for several years that I sent back and they tightened it up for free and shipped it back for free. I'd hate to hear that Kramer themselves hosed somebody...

No need to apologize. I have gotten a few holsters from Kramer via Ebay. He does take forever to ship, but I did get it.

My only thing is that I need to do some draws to loosen it up.

FWIW, I had problems on ebay with him, and never was able to maintain contact, after I received the wrong holster. One of his pocket holsters was listed as left hand, and I bid, won the auction and made sure in my correspondence with him, that I would get the left hand model. I didn't, and my emails went unanswered.

I have also bought used Kramer IWB and OWB holsters from other people, and wondered why I got such good deals on them, thinking it was because of a lack of demand for left-handed stuff. Every one of them was too tight for the gun. Even using the plastic wrap/bag idea to try to get the gun to fit well, and break it in hasn't worked. No more Kramer holsters for me.

BTW, the pocket revolver holster did fit the j frame revolver well, so at least one of his holsters does fit right away.

I like Kramer's J-Frame pocket holster (though Mika is still my favorite) but the Belt Scabbard I bought this year is too tight on the draw to be practical.

Kramers seem hit and miss this way. My P99c scabbard is perfect, but my Glock 19 was also way too tight and required a trip back to Kramer. Talk about a customer service nightmare! 6 weeks later I had my holster back and now it fits correctly.

The seller is actually Greg Kramers son and he can be a real piece of work to deal with. Has a habit of sending the wrong holsters, long delivery, etc and from what I have heard they are holsters that did not pass the QC standards, look OK but may/may not fit properly. Approach carefully, I have been burned a few times and when I told him I was going to contact both his father (company owner) and the American Holstermakers Guild his reply was "So What", do whatever you want!

+1 on what Torrejon says. I ordered a couple from him with good results. On the 3rd, the delay in shipping was ridulous. It took forever to get him to respond to emails. It was several weeks before I actually got the holster. I won't be doing that again.
