Anyone have a line on a good range holster for a M&P 40 C ? So far I'm striking out at the local and not so local shops.

Kydex typically works best but if necessary I'll go to leather.

It looks like special order must be the way.

I ordered a blackhawk from midway. It was designed for a full size glock or M&P. I couldn't find one like I wanted for a compact. They may have one available now. It is a great holster. The only problem is the inch and a half void between the end of my M&P40c and the end of the holster. I thought about useing it for storage, but can't think of what I would put in it. Maybe ear plugs, cleaning rag, or maybe a snickers bar. It makes a great range holster. I don't have the model number handy, but search midway and you will find it. They have lots of others on midways web sight also.

I thought I could find one locally but to no success. I'll go on Midway later today.

If you deal with e-bay, they have a number for this weapon.

thanks for the tip S&W Oldtimer - sometimes e-bay is very frustrating for me, but I'll take a look there also

If you are looking for Kydex you may want to get a G-Code G-A002. It was designed for a Glock but my dealer pulled it off the rack to try and it is a perfect fit for my S&W 40c. They have a website listed as www.range5.com.

When I had my M&P9C I had a Kramer scabbard holster, made out of horsehide. It was excellent. They hold their shape so you can re-holster with one hand.
