I hope to have the CHL soon. I have been looking at these two holsters on the web. My main carry will be the S&W 3913 and I usually always have my shirt tucked. THe 3913 is not listed in the pull down window on Comp-Tac's site for the MTAC and they have not answered any of my emails regarding this. I may need to call. Does anyone know if one of the Smith models listed for the MTAC will fit the 3913? I like the idea of being able to change out the holster bodiy to accommodate the Glock, if I decide to carry it.

I have the SuperTuck Deluxe for my Sigma and have been very pleased with it. But the CompTac has much better belt clips.

Comp-Tac makes no bodies for the Minotaur that will fit the 3913 or any other S&W 3rd Generation pistol.
I already asked and their reason why not is that there are too many variations of those pistols to make it practical for them. Las armas son necesarias Pero nadie sabe cuando; Asi no, si andas paseando, Y de noche sobre todo, Debes llevarlo de modo Que al salir, salga cortando. Martín Fierro |

While I agree that the MTAC is slightly higher quality and more versatile than the Crossbreed SuperTuck, I'm extremely pleased with the SuperTuck I ordered for my 3913. It's just as comfortable as the MTAC, and since it is an IWB, the somewhat rougher appearance is not an issue.
Some people prefer to switch out the Crossbreeed belt clips on the SuperTuck for MTAC clips that can be ordered separately from Comp-Tac. ______________________ "Cuff him. Then wash your hands." - Sgt. TJ Hooker |

Ok, it looks like I will be placing an order for the SuperTuck Deluxe. Then, is it the C-T.A.C. "C" clips that most people like and Horsehide or Cowhide?
Thanks for the replies, Scott |

Crossbreed holsters do not come with Comp-Tac brand clips unless things have changed in the last year.
My experience with a Super Tuck was very poor and I ditched it to the box o holsters as soon as my Cochise Defender from K&D Holsters showed up. Now THAT'S a quality holster. I understood what RogueJSk meant. That many people who use the SuperTuck from Crossbreed prefer to order the clips from Comp-TAC, since they will sell them separately.
Thanks, Scott |

There are other problems in addition to the Crossbreed clips. Las armas son necesarias Pero nadie sabe cuando; Asi no, si andas paseando, Y de noche sobre todo, Debes llevarlo de modo Que al salir, salga cortando. Martín Fierro |

I prefer the standard, over-the-belt clips. They're still pretty unobtrusive when worn with a similarly colored belt, but they offer a better grip on the belt and support for the gun than the C or J clips. I'm still using the Crossbreed belt clips that came with it, and have not had any problems so far. They work well with my 1.5" Rafter S gun belts, no matter what pants I'm wearing. And I ordered a horsehide backing for my SuperTuck, since I'm a sweaty guy living in the South. Horsehide is denser, and doesn't absorb moisture as easily as cowhide. I didn't spring for the Combat Grip option, since I figured that if I needed it, my local leather shop could do it for a couple of bucks. After wearing it for many months, I personally don't think it is necessary, at least with the 3913. I could see how it might be necessary with other handgun designs. You may decide that you prefer the extra assurance on your grip that it offers. You might also want to take a look at Crossbreed's tuckable magazine carrier. It's the only design I know of that offers an offset, tuckable belt clip. It's very comfortable, and is the perfect companion for the SuperTuck. It allows me to carry both my handgun and a spare magazine with a tucked in shirt. (But with that said, the 3913 magazine is just as easily slipped into the front pocket, which I is a method that I find myself using more and more often.) ______________________ "Cuff him.
