I chose not to list SA revolvers as they seemed a very rare occurrence in the CCW world and probably not a very good choice in my mind for a number of reasons. Don't want to start a debate on that...just answering your question.

I carry a single action revolver everyday. It is the only type of handgun that I am carrying always. I may be carrying a DA revolver or auto, but whatever it is, it is always backed up by a SA revolver. I do, however, think that for the purpose of the poll, lumping all revolvers together is fine.

Don't carry a gun because of what may happen today. Carry because once, just once, and at the least likely time imaginable, you may run into the worst monster you ever could imagine. Be their worst nightmare and resist them with all the stubbornness that our pioneer ancestors posessed. To do less is to be unamerican.

Many years ago when I lived in Oklahoma I saw more than a few SA revolvers that had been modified for CCW simply by removing the barrel.

Obviously they were no legal by you would be surprised how handy they were in size. Given the anticipated range they were expected to be used at there was plenty of accuracy.

Ya...I can see my short-sightedness in not thinking about SA's in CCW. They wouldn't be MY first choice, but then again there are LOTS of people who don't think like me in LOTS of ways! LOL!

Since we have cool and cold weather here I wear a lot of sweat shirts and carry my pistols in a Kramer or Don Hume belt holster. I carry a E German Makarov 9x18 or a Sig P239 in the 40 S&W cal. The Mak is lighter, but does not have the fire power.

I recently picked up a LEO trade in 4053 which I have been carrying in a Desantis Speed Scabbard. This will most likely be my colder weather carry. This summer I mostly carried my 649 in the ccw pocket of my Versipack Fatboy.

BTW...IMHO the 4053 is one of the most underrated auto's available. Never thought I could get such a great weapon for under $300.

I carry a 637-2 stoked with Speer Gold-Dots. It's light, handy and accurate.

4013TSW, the original version without the rail. I have time to time worn my 500 2.5"(cooler weather). My light summer wear gun is a 642. I'm never without the 4013. Its fun to carry big guns- with a good holster, I have carried my 500 a lot of times with no problems, bought my holster from a guy in Alaska- works great.
