Does anyone own any holsters made by K.L. Null Holsters Ltd.? I'd like to know your experience with the company and the holsters. I am specifically interested in this holster:

Model UNS Undercover Special

Ken Null is one of the old-time holster makers, who took over many of Paris Theodore's holster designs.
Apart from his several polymer shoulder rigs, he works only in shell cordovan.

His work is absolutely top notch. I've ordered several holsters from him over the past 25 years, and my longest wait, from order to receipt, was eight days!

I've bought a couple of his holsters from e*ay and have talked to him on the phone, but never ordered from him. He seemed like a nice guy on the phone.

I spoke to him once on the phone and he struck me as a very nice guy. He was opinionated, but courteous and professional. I was all set to buy one of his polymer shoulder rigs from him when I got a barely used one for cheap off eBay. It's a great little shoulder rig for the J frame, but it takes a little getting used to as the draw stroke is different than conventional shoulder holsters (vertical or horizontal).

Best of luck,

Dave

I've got one of his polymer shoulder rigs. The entire holster weighs less than an empty Ti J frame. The retention system is innovative, but must be practiced with a bit to get accustomed to. Once accustomed to it, it's as fast as any shoulder rig can be. First class durability and workmanship.

Ken Null was one of the FIRST holster makers to use "horsehide". He perfected the techniques that many use today.

His product is well thought out, innovative, practical and professional. And it works.

Horsehide is lighter in weight than cowhide, stronger and will hold it's shape longer.

I have one of Mr Null's molded shoulder holsters and I was amazed by the turnaround time, I think I had it in my hands inside of a week. He was very nice to deal with on the phone.

Ken's work is first rate, with incredibly short delivery times. I wouldn't hesitate a second in recommending him. When ordering be sure of the belt width, his belt loops are correctly sized.

About 10 years ago, I bought a 5" Model 686 and a Null holster for it was included in the deal. The holster is beautifuly crafted. Ken Null does fine leatherwork.

Ken's neighbors say he always had a kind word, never caused any trouble and was very helpful to the elderly in the neighborhood. Of course, they were shocked to learn he made holsters for of all things...deadly guns.

I tried the city slicker shoulder holster and hated it. I did not like the Plastic part the gun actually slides into.

I would like to try one of these
