Wednesday I went to renew my ccw permit at the St Louis County Police Headquarters which only took the person behind the window about 5 min. to complete the paperwork. I asked her what the fee was and she reply no charge (FREE). It appears that the county has yet to determine a fee to charge for renewal.

I was told that when I renew mine we had to do it at the Vehicle Licensing Bureau. They never mentioned a fee.

The Dept of Revenue (license office) will send you a letter telling you that you have so much time to renew your ccw. You have to go to your County Sheriff office to get a renwal slip and then you go to Dept of Revenue (license office) and get a new ID with your CCW on it. License office does charge.

In St. Louis, you go downtown to the sheriffs office, then to the DMV.
