Twenty plus years after getting married, Mrs. purple95 finally decided to get her carry permit. Her gun of choice is a Ruger SP-101 which she carries most of the time now. I'm proud of her. Thank you for your service to our country. I'm proud of you. Cheers, dan

From one Michigan soldier to another (125th and 126th inf. alumni), God bless you and stay safe. Thank you for going into harms way on our behalf. If your wife has any CCW questions invite her to join us here. Who are you serving with and what's your MOS (provided you're not violating OPSEC by answering such things)?
Don't carry a gun because of what may happen today. Carry because once, just once, and at the least likely time imaginable, you may run into the worst monster you ever could imagine. Be their worst nightmare and resist them with all the stubbornness that our pioneer ancestors posessed. To do less is to be unamerican.

Thanks for the offer, but I've got plenty of cleaning supplies. I have been here long enough to customize or order anything I needed. For example, my brother sent me an M9 holster for my armor vest and I discarded my issued M4 sling for (believe it or not) an old shoulder strap from a computer bag. Once again, thanks for your kind words.
