Search on "pocket" and "holster" in this forum, and you'll get an earful. I have two pocket holsters made by forum members that are wonderful. RandyC of Bulldog Leather and Bob Mika do good work.

The Mika pocket holster is the best deal going IMHO. I have had mine for over a year and use it often. It's still like new and works great.

+1 for the Mika. Bought two from a forum member some time ago. Gave one to a friend and the other carries my M36 in my front pocket daily. Very comfortable and I hardly notice it at all.

I have a Kramer & an Uncle Mikes IWB with the Clip removed that are my favorite pocket holsters..

I've tried a number of them, including Uncle Mike's. etc. The one that works best for me is Bianchi's "Pocket Change". I've been using one everday for a year. It was about $15.00. out the door.

I'm happy with my DeSantis Nemesis.

I hve both a "Kramer" & a "Uncle Mikes" "Kramer" is top of the line IMO, altho a little spendy.

To tell the truth "Uncle Mikes" ain't bad either. And is actualy less noticeable in your pocket. But if you do look close it resembles what it is. Wheras the "Kramer" looks more like a small book or a wallet.

Either will do a good job of keeping the gun rightside up in your pocket.

I like the Alessi and the Kramer pocket holsters for my J frames.

Something is better than nothing, and taste, experience and budget are all ruling factors. For me, the Uncle Mike's works very well.

Search for the Mika holster. It's everything you're looking for.

Desantis Nemesis holsters work fairly well, and are certainly worth a look given their price point. I had one thrown in with a trade that I use for a 442 at times, and I use one for my far heavier G27. The Uncle Mikes were what I used in the past, but while serviceable, weren't quite as well done as the Nemesis.

Of course you could also just make one out of Gorilla tape, cardboard (Cheezit boxes work well) and a few rubberbands on the outside for friction. I've made several holsters for my 12-3 snub that way, and they usually hold up for two months or so before you have to make a new one. Gorilla tape is about 9 bucks a roll, #64 rubber bands a few bucks a pound, and the empty boxes largely free.

Another vote for the Mika pocket holster.

Me too. I carry a 640 no dash in it and it works very well for me.

Another vote for Bob Mika's superb pocket holster. My 33 year old J frame Model 60 has lived in one for about a year and a half now and the holster and revolver still look like new.

The most important aspect of this holster is its ability to create a moisture barrier between your body and the gun. In fact, I just ordered another pocket holster from Bob yesterday for my stainless Interarms PPK as the Nemesis I've been using, albeit slim and comfortable for carry, is allowing moisture to form on the frame of the gun on hot sweaty summer days. The rubberized surface of the Nemesis works OK, however the problem with the holster is that the fabric trim of the Nemesis, along the perimeter of the holster, absorbs and retains perspiration when resting along your leg. This stays wet all day and rests along the frame behind the trigger guard, which will lead to rust and pitting if not removed and dried off.

The only solution is to remove the gun and dry the holster out before reholstering...not an ideal solution to say the least, while you are out with your pocket pistol. The Mika holster never has this issue, moisture simply can't permeate the holster...period. Maybe not quite as slim as the Nemesis, granted...but the trade off of a bit more bulk for moisture blockage is well worth it in my opinion. The Mika also prints far less than other pocket holsters.
