Are there any inherent problems with them? are there any positive attributes?

Thanks in advance.

Gunfan:

I don't know anything about that particular piece, but CZ makes a good product. When I decided on a small pocket pistol, I was searching for the very desirable, and very hard to find, Seecamp .25ACP. I just missed buying one at a large gun show which was a blessing in disguise as shortly afterwards, Seecamp came out with the .32ACP version. After a few years, I finally found one and bought it. I love the piece and would never sell it. If you are looking for a BUG or hide-out piece, I highly recommend it.

Good luck,

Dave

gunfan,

I cannot comment on this particular model. I do recall that early CZ's did have some mechanical problems but do not recall any details.

The modern CZ's are quality firearms.

A CZ 70 should be a VZOR 70, I have one and the little thing runs like the energizer bunny, Mine is worn, It rattles and will digest ammo I have found all dinged up at the range,,, I would call it a mouse gun, 32 acp is NOT a great defensive round, Mine is preyyt darn accurate and I would trust that it would run fine anytime, It is one of those guns that you can run 8 rounds out the barrel before the 1st shell hits the ground. Everytime I take my one buddy to the range he brings a box of ammo to run through it..
They usually are reliable guns and should sell for about 150 in great condition.

I think I'm gonna need a bigger safe.

This particular model is built in Yugoslavia, is of the single action type, and is built on the Tokarev plan. I have been told that these are fairly good pistols for the money. Unfortunately there are not any more magazines that I can purchase for this little .32. If I can "clean up" the single action military-type trigger, it should shoot well, as they are manufactured of solid steel.

The CZ-70 that I have has a horribly heavy double-action trigger. If I could cure this malady, I would already have a nice .32. I am hoping that the single-action Tokarev-type of pistol be a better performer in a tense situation. If I can get the single-action smoothed out, I'll bet that I can empty the gun in short order when needed!

Thanks to all.

Scott

What a pity that the pistol is marked CZ giving it an appearance of the gun made in Czech Republic in the famous CZ factory. It is not true at all. As someone before me noted this gun is made in the former Yugoslavia by Zastava and it is ,in my opinion unsafe an unreliable piece. You should never carry it with the round in the chamber, even with the hammer down and for a .32 ACP caliber it is too big and too heavy. The only thing that speaks for this is its low price - nothing else, but certainly you value your life a lot higher.

Why is it that a lot of people want to buy a pistol to protect themselves and/or their family...but then they say "...but I don't want to spend a lot of money." Those that have been in sticky social situations know that money is really no object when your life, and/or the life of your loved ones is at stake. You don't have to buy the most expensive piece in the world, but you do want a quality pistol that is accurate and reliable.

Regards,

Dave
