Aren't North American Arms the one's who make the chihuahua?

I have a Charter2000 .44 Bulldog on as I type this. My son and I each have one. I shoot a 250gr HP cast from a custom mold at close to 1000fps out of mine. After over a thousand rounds of that load and a few thousand rounds of various other loads through mine, it is still as tight as the day I bought it. It is not pretty and it kicks like hell, but it is a lot more accurate and a lot tougher than it has any right to be.
It's also kind of fun to let others try it at the range. People who are used to shooting .40 or .45 Glocks, and such rarely make it through a full cylinder.

Shelley loves hers, and likes shooting it with moderate loads. I have the earlier 1991, 3" barreled version. It shoots VERY well and I happily carry it in my shoulder holster all day. My sport coat keeps it out of sight and away from prying eyes. It is an EXCELLENT companion when push comes to shove. Scott

My CA Bulldog Pug rides in the console of the car all of the time, along with two speed-loaders of 200-gr GDHP. Fine handgun for the money. Guess I would say it makes a fine car-gun.....I know, I know, car-gun, house-gun, carry-gun....

Have carried one daily since 1987. Practice with and carry 200 gr. Gold Dots. It is the best carry piece I have come across if it's not abused and properly maintained. The newer ones need to be thoroughly inspected by somebody who understands revolvers. They're not a S&W but they'll do the job.

I purchased one of the new model Charter Arms Bulldogs in .44-SPL in the past year. It is good for what it is intended. It is my constant in the console gun with GDHP 200-gr stoked in it. For personal carry, I have any of the four J-frames to choose from. It is not refined, it is not pretty, but it works for what it is intended......
