No there has never been a lifetime warranty on tumblers , electronic scales and a few other electrical gizmos they sell.

I had a smaller Dillon tumbler which had a motor go bad after many years , it never completely stopped but the thermal protection would shut it down about every 20 minutes. I called and was quoted $34 I believe including return shipping , when I got it back it was obvious they had gone over the whole machine , new rubber bushings , springs , cord & heavier switch, lid washer & nut and rubber feet. I feel I got the better of the deal! Wink

Once you go rotary, there's no returning to vibratory.

I got the Midway e-mail as well. My new tumblers will be here next week. Along with the other stuff I couldn't do without.

I have a tumbler question. How do you get case lube off?

I have carbide dies but somebody suggested to me once to lube a case and size in my carbide die so I did and the difference was so dramatic that I do all the time. I just put fifty cases in a box and spray some lube at them and it seems to work. But wiping each one off is a pain.

And Pinky, would you mind explaining why?

Primarily noise. Rotary tumblers are much, much quieter, and the noise they do make isn't the kind that'll run you out of the room. I don't know how much my Thumlers Model B will hold, but I've had +600 mixed 44mag/45Colt/45acp in it with room to spare. Cleans as fast, or faster, than my old vibratory, and I'm told it'll last forever. It's nice to be able to run the cleaner a few feet from your reloading bench without wearing earmuffs.
