In my previous posts, I've been looking for a couple of good, stout loads for my Winchester '94 Trapper. This forum has be a great help to me in finding such a load. I went out this weekend and fired several suggested loads, and all shoot "harder" than factory loads, and all were accurate in this gun. Just how much is "too" much. A couple of loads showed bulging to the case, but not the base, and I can tell where the feed ramp was because of extra bulging in that area. Am I close to the "danger zone"? Should these loads be OK for occational shooting. The other loads showed very litle case buldging. Thanks for the experienced opinions. BTW, 20.7 gr. of H-110 was the hottest load under a 240 gr JHP.

How about postin a pic of the extra bulge area.

I get some bulging from my trapper but its less than most +P stuff from an auto.

Cant load ammo fast enough to keep the guns fed.
Old data is only old because it was printed before the laywers got out of hand.
