I got some 135 grn. plated 40s, that I intend to load with titegroup since I have 8 pounds. They recommend loading a powder charge the same as a lead bullet. However my manuals do not list the 135gr. in lead or plated. Does anyone have a book with the right info on this combination?

The Hodgdon 2008 manual lists 5.8 to 6.4 grains of Titegroup with the 135 grain Nosler JHP bullet.
Hornady case, Win SP primer, COL 1.125" Velocity from 4" barrel 1155 to 1251 FPS. Hope this helps. |

As a rule of thumb you can drop jacketed bullet loads 1gr and get the same velocity from a lead bullet of the same weight.
