I don't like the three dollar charge on orders under $25.00 , but I usually have something I need to push the order to limit. I just started this thread to see how many folks liked doing business with Midway. They have always treated me great.

I buy quite a lot from Midway, I have found their customer service friendly and helpful, even when I have had to return items. However I still shop Cabelas, Grafs, MidSouth and anybody else that carries what I need. Sometimes even Cabelas has a better price on certain items. If Midways price plus shipping is higher than some other suppliers price with shipping I go there. One nice thing for me is I get ground shipping in two days from Mo. to KY. More suppliers are following Midways lead with the round up NRA donation. For me Big orders with many items usually ends up with Midway plus my wish list lets me know when items on it are on sale.

I've used Midway for years, enjoy their email specials, mail flyers, quick shipping and wide variety of items available. Also always a good reminder to kick in some extra to the NRA...Didn't know about the C&R discount, though - better look into that...

I've only had 1 problem with Midway in 18 years.
It was a recall on the motor of one of their tumblers. It was really no big deal. They notified me, paid shipping costs and even gave me a $20 dollar credit for the inconvenience. If only other companies were as great to deal with.

They are in Columbia, Missouri where I was attending the University of Missouri in the late 70's. I bought a Lee Loader, some cast bullets and a can of Unique from the gun store that became Midway in about 1979.

I considered trading my 4" Model 66 no dash for a 6" model 66. They offered to trade my used gun for the new one for $50. They had a customer who wanted a 4" 66.

One of the great things about living near them is I can place an order and pick it up without shipping.

I used to buy a lot more when they had free shipping.

My last birthday I checked their discount they gave me and low and behold my discount turned out to be the same as if I were not using the birthday discount. What a scam! Plus they refuse to ship in USPS Flate Rate boxes if requested. Why should I pay for extra shipping? Stopped using them years ago!

Just got an email from Midway. Apparently I've never received a "birthday discount" because I haven't signed up for their "promotional emails". I don't know at this point if the "Birthday Discount" would be worth all the junk emails.
BTW, I asked Midway specifically what was the "birthday discount" and they didn't respond. All I can assume is it must not be a big deal one way or the other.

I like Midway and travel frequently between St. Louis and Kansas City so I pick up my orders. Their customer service has been great but I've stopped ordering anything that is not in stock. Their last back order took 6 weeks to fill. I'm 6 weeks in to my latest and they don't have any more idea now than 6 weeks ago when it will be filled. Every time I check they show that it will ship in 2 days. I know they can't control when their suppliers ship, but it's still aggravating.
