I ordered 2000 bullets from Missouri Bullets on Thursday afternoon and they were delivered on Monday afternoon, can't complain about that, especially during the holiday time.

One of the 50 round boxes was busted open inside the priority usps box and there were a few bullets floating around in there. Didn't seem to hurt them any and I suspect that priority mail box was dropped a few times as it weighs a ton. My mailman was not a happy camper as he carried the box from the driveway to the door, "these... are ... pretty ... heavy" thump down on the porch.Smiler

I have not opened the other boxes yet, but the bullets I did inspect seemed to be fine. I think I will order some more, near as I can tell Missouri bullets provides the best value for cast bullets these days.

Didn't mean to sound like I was knocking the bullets. Shot some today, and sure enough they went where the gun was pointed. Not necessarily where I wanted them to go, but there are (many) days when I'm gun-pointing challenged. In fact, I'll be ordering some more. Hard to beat the combo of price and fast delivery.

Pinky, I am glad the bullets went where they were pointed ;-)

We do stand behind our bullets and will handle the deficient ones your received. I welcome feedback, good or bad, in order that I can ensure delivery of a quality product, as customer satisfaction is at the very heart of any successful enterprise. I know that we make good bullets and if some crummy ones went out, I want to know about it!

Please email me and we will take care of it for you.

Thanks/Brad

Wayne, I guarantee you that your postman's enmity can not compare - by any number of orders of magnitude - with the raw, savagely-pulsating hatred my mail *lady* has for me. She has to drive down my quarter-mile driveway every morning and pick up any number of those heavy little cartons and move around her other mail so that she can fill up the back of her little SUV with our bullets. She is a petite lady, too.

If there comes a time when orders go unfilled and I don't respond to emails or phone calls, it means that she got me.

:-)

Glad your bullets arrived quickly. We do try.

Brad

Packaging for USPS is quite the daunting challenge. Shipping to Florida is a trick. I SWEAR you could ship in Kevlar laminate packaging on some of the routes out there and they WILL find a way to split it.

we might consider throwing our resident blacksmith some business by commissioning the fabrication of cast iron boxes drilled and tapped so we can bolt them shut and see if they get the point

The good Lord will provide ... but its up to you to keep your powder dry www.venomballistics.com

Excellent. Hard bullets in target loads lead something awful. Especiall the 'bevel base' type.

I usually shoot around 300 rounds of 180 gr cast 40s each time I practice with my M&P. I fire the last mag rapid fire to heat the barrel up, immediately remove the barrel, spin a 45 cal brush in the chamber, run a 40 cal brush through the bore 20 times. Wipe the fowling away from the chamber, call it clean. lead really comes out easy while it's still hot.

That sounds like a good system, but us grizzled old coots accomplish the same results with a couple of swipes with the Lewis Lead Remover, which we are now stocking for the various pistol calibers

I'm going to try PPC this year, so I got the 148gr. DEWC's. Easy website to use, fast delivery, and everything looks great. Can't have enough lead!
