Got a new Lee Loadmaster progressive (I know, I know, but it's half the money of the lowest price Dillon) and it's working quite well, except I can't get the case feeder to work right. I've followed all the instructions and the advice on some YouTube videos and it's still not quite right. The crank slider thing is "shuddering" or vibrating as it moves up and down the square-section shaft causing the empty case to fall off the feed tongue before insertion. I've tried oiling the shaft, re-checking the pencil-width gap between the shaft and feed tongue, messing with the crank-slider friction adjusting screws...nothing seems to work. Any ideas or tips? Thanks.
Sgt Preston here. Why not call the service department at Lee. I have Dillon equipment & call them when I have a problem & the talk me thru it in a few minutes. Give Lee a call & let us know how you make out. Sgt Preston USMC LLA

Had the same issue when I was setting up my load master. A couple of drops of Hopps gun oil on the plastic piece that slides on the square rod solved that. Go to Lee's site and watch their instructional videos, it will help with set up.

I love my loadmaster but the case feeder is a pain in the you know what.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cant load ammo fast enough to keep the guns fed. Old data is only old because it was printed before the laywers got out of hand.
Clark, I've cranked the handle a few times & helped a buddy load on a Lee 1000 Progressive & the Case Feeder & the Bullet Feeder worked well. We had some other issues that day (Powder Measure came unhooked ?). But the Case Feeder & Bullet feeder worked well. On the down side he NEVER trusted or used the machine to insert primers & he did all those ahead of time by hand. Sgt Preston USMC LLA
