If you're shooting IDPA SSR and use lead 158 grainers - try 3.8-4.0 grains of Clays. The guys shooting 170/180 grainers use 3.1 - 3.2 of Clays. Very nice! We used to snidely call the Clays guys Clayniacs, they were so adamant that Clays was THE powder for .45s and .38s. Now I agree with them.

The North Mountain holder seems to be the best of all the variations that i've tried so far. I definitely recommend it!
