How hard and involved is it to make a SW 3914 double action only so the trigger pull is the same every time?

I know very little about 3rd gen S&W Autos but would think you would want to look into some 3953 parts like the hammer, also the DAO autos don't have a safety or decock in the slide.
Someone with advanced knowledge will chime in.
Good Luck

Call S&W they can do it for you. They also can leave the safty on it if you wish. The 3953 or 3954 parts are not what you need and will not fit.I have a factory NYPD 3914 DAO. It has the same hammer as a standard 3914 but no safety. It also has second strike capability,by just pulling the trigger a second time, unlike the 3953/54 which need the slide to move rearward.
