Have 2 629-6's, would like to have the cylinder throats reamed to .431" by cylindersmith. That knurled knob twist which way counter or clockwise to release ejector/extractor collar and cylinder?

Have a 629-1 that cylinder throats are .4325"-amazing really and bore is slugged at .430", good for hardcast shooting.

Last question what ideal tool if you will is used to break loose the knurled nut/knob?

regards,

Clockwise to loosen. Check out the FAQ sticky in the revolver section. Smiler

thanks, have 2 cylinders out. when looking down the barrel to the front sight rotation is counterclockwise. I used a piece of tanned mooseskin and slip joint pliers. I first filled the cylinder with brass and commenced.

E-mailed CAS to have them reamed to .431" or larger if he can,

regards,
