RIG makes a wipe cloth that does a great job on stainless and nickle guns. Its also good for removing bluing.

To remove lead and carbon from cylinder fronts, use a "lead-away" cloth, available at most gun shops.
This heavy cloth literally wipes leading and carbon right off with light rubbing.
DO NOT use on a blued gun.

To remove fouling from the forcing cone, about the only really effective method is the Lewis Lead Remover Kit.
This kit cleans bores and cylinders of leading better than anything, and includes a special tool head to really clean the forcing cone.
All older revolver shooters had one in their box:

The best way to clean the chambers is a chamber cleaning brush.
These are special over-size, extra-stiff bristle brushes that really clean the chambers FAST, and without doing any harm.
Use ONLY real bronze brushes, never stainless.:

I use what DFARISWHEEL recommends above.

One Glock-30
That's all folks, that's the entire arsenal, two more than I need.

The very best (most effective) is mercury. Also very, very dangerous and now not so easy to get.

The Lewis Lead Remover is slow but works very nicely on forcing cones.

The best lead remover I have ever seen is a 50-50 mix of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. I soak lead fouled compensators in it and the thick lead deposits turn spongy so you can peel it off.

I use it on stainless parts, if you use it on carbon steel it might cause rust.
