Has anyone done this; replace their J frame MIM trigger with a forged? I see these M36 parts kits on GunBroker and wanted to know if the forged M36 case hardened trigger would swap out with a 342Ti MIM hollow back trigger - with gunsmith fitting / work of course.

Have no personal experience, but the advice from S&W with the autos is that if you change one MIM part, ya gotta change them all. Expect it would be the same on round guns.

I've done some work with MIM auto parts and I'm impressed with them.

Can I ask WHY? The MIM trigger is the same in all four frames Hear is a target gun that I put a MIM in to get a smoother action on it. Later John
