I would go for the bead blast and reblue, but don't do the hammer or trigger, leave them along. That is a pre war hand ejector, about a 1920 - 30, 4th change. How is the bore? It will have a few pits after the fact, but still look good for a shooter. Later - John

I am almost positive the gun is a 1917. But you guys can look yourself .

I cant belive that the price is up to $370.00 on the auction site. Roll Eyes
If this piece was bought for a hundred bucks by me it would be lovingly restored, by me. That said its a minimal investment for me. if you need to send it off for this work you might think about just buying something in better condition.
As always, restoration is a personal choice.
