Got a nice zebrawood grip all sanded and detailed out, nice dark stripes and grain.

Other than the dark stripes it doesn't have any real color to it, just natural light color. What would make the wood look good? Should I stain it?

Zebrawood is an open-grained wood somewhat like oak. I've had good luck using Watco Danish Oil Finish on it. The walnut finish lightly darkens the lighter parts, and enhances the dark streaks.

Be advised that it will take several coats of finish (TruOil, Watco, urethane varnish, etc) to adequately fill the pores. Dry overnight and lightly sand or apply steel wool between coats.
