Has anyone tried the Scope mount made by B Square?
It is supose to fit in place of the rear sight,
and use weaver style rings.
There is a mixup on the models it will fit.

I have several of the B-Square bases mounted on revolvers. It is beyond excellent. It fits all of the Smith's that are drilled and tapped. You remove the rear sight and the base fits in the recess and the base has a recoil lug that fits against the "sight step". The screws are not stressed - all of the recoil load is borne by the very strong lug.

Excellent design and the best price I have seen is from CDNN.

Thanks Dale
I ordered one that said it fits all models,
The screw hole came out half way between the front 2 holes.
I would like one on my 15 and 17 models.
Thank you,

The Weaver people also make a very fine "No Holes Mount" for both the "K/L" and "N" frame revolvers that work very well. If your gun is one of the newer ones it might already be drilled and tapped.

+1 for Weigand mounts. I have a couple of 629's that have this mount. Have never loosened up in over a dozen years of shooting!
