Was wondering what throat dia. is ideal for the 45ACP? My 625-10 measures .451 on all sox chambers.

really depends on the bore dia...
for shooting lead: if the bore is .451, I like my throats just a bit bigger- like .001 over (.452), and then size my boolits the same dia as throats(.452) if shooting primarily jacketed bullets: .451 is perfect if bore is .451 as well. a bad scenario is if bore is larger than throats...but that can always be remedied by honing/reaming Two kinds of people in this world; those with loaded guns, and those who dig |
