I am wondering without having to revert to the Blue Book if there could be a list maintained of current ball park values for S & W revolvers?
I know there are many varialbles invlved in pricing guns but again I stress ball park.

I wouldn't dare call it Generic, but the Standard Cataloge of Smith and Wesson III is what most "in the know" S&W collectors use. One of our esteemed forum member, Mr. Jim Supica is one of the authors of the book and lots of other members contributed information to it as well. It's much better than the Blue Book in that it has indepth descriptions of most every variant of S&W firearm ever made with full color photos of nearly every thing. It's an excellent book and makes a great coffe table book.

Due to the long lag time between creating the list, and issuing the book, plus the very long time until the next one, perhaps Jim Supica would consider a price list supplement peridically for five to ten dollars. It would not have to be elaborate.

That sounds like something better done by a subscription to a web site, to me. That way, subscribers would have the very latest price info, and the web site could be quickly updated as prices change.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
