Question for the mods, I think I had an ad pulled this morning, unless I inadvertently deleted it myself. If it was pulled, I'd like to get a clarification.
I have one ad running for a WTT, wanting to trade, and the ad I think I had pulled was a WTC, want to buy. I was under the impression that it was OK to have more than one ad running if they were different topics, such as a WTB and a WTT; am I mistaken on this? NO biggie either way, I just want to know if I violated the rules on accident. Thanks! |

Since no one responded, I will. Hope all is well.

WTT, WTS, or WTB ads must be consolidated into one post. I learned that the hard way and had both of my posts deleted. If you think about it, it's really the only fair way to do it as there is only so much "front page" space available.

Thiokol,
The theory behind consolidating all of one individual's items into one post to conserve "front page" space is sound. However, from a practical standpoint it doesn't address a big loophole. I see an increasing number of posts in which the poster adds an item or two every day or bumps their adv just to keep their advs on the first page. These advs which run 3, 4, 8, etc. pages are next to impossible to keep track of just what is still available. I've solved that problem personally by just not opening a page that has more than one page worth of responses. Bob |
