I just had a chance to shoot my first Victory purchase and love it. Now I am hooked but looking for ammo that I can afford to shoot. There are several that list the .38 SW as "Cowboy Ammuntion" what is this? Is this ammo ok to run in the Victory?

Info on it is below.

Product Code
41180-01
Product Name
.38 S&W 125 LRNFP NEW 50/BX

Price: $ 18.08 Each

Muzzle Velocity = --- ft/s
Energy = -- ft-lbs
Weight: 1.60

Thanks for anything anyone can offer, learning lots on this board and appricate everyone's thoughts.

Cowboy ammo is just a term for plain lead bullets loaded to moderate velocities. It is made for target shooting and should not damage any gun in good condition that was made for smokeless powder loads.

Great, thank you for the clarification. I think the ammo listed is the best deal I can find and really just enjoy the revolver and want to do some plinking. Just did not want to do something wrong in the process
