Good day everyone,

Does it make a difference in accuracy?

If I want to shoot mostly .38 Special rounds because of an indoor range, but would like the option of having an occasional .357 Magnum.

..........Is a .38 Special just as accurate in:

A) A revolver that shoots/is designed for .38 Special only.

B) A .357 Magnum revolver shooting .38 Specials.

Thanks everyone.

It's going to depend on the gun.

That said, I've shot a lot of .38s from various .357s, and some from a .357 Maximum Contender. They all seemed pretty accurate to me.

I used them for plinking, small game hunting, and some match shooting without complaint.
