Have you tried Northwest Shooters Supply or Ammo Bank? Google ar15.com. When you get on there go to "Ammo." They list a bunch of dealers.

In scandium guns I would use Remington Golden sabres .357s. or the FBI load provided bullet pull isn't an issue.

I like full trottle Remington 125 gr. screamers in steel guns, but for most people that wouldn't be the best choice, in which case the above loads would work fine.

Don't carry a gun because of what may happen today. Carry because once, just once, and at the least likely time imaginable, you may run into the worst monster you ever could imagine. Be their worst nightmare and resist them with all the stubbornness that our pioneer ancestors posessed. To do less is to be unamerican.

I like the GDSB in ,38 +P, and I like the 130 gr. Hydrashok .357s, in my snub.

Thanks,
Mike

You could try the regular, non short barrel, 125 gr +P GD LE loads for your .38. http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/product_info.php?pNa...al-hollow-point-ammo

The FBI load is always a good choice, provided that it works in your particular gun. (The 337s came with an advisory to use only jacketed bullets.)

MidwayUSA has them here. I use the Gold Dot .38 +P in the 60LS, which is a short-barrel .357, and it works great.

I read a review on Midway last night of Speer non-SB in 125gr .357. It said something to the effect of if you miss don't worry. The target will be blind, deaf and have their hair burned off from the blast.

+1 I haven't been able to find any either until I checked the above site. The price is better than I paid at of my local shops (when any of them had it) so I just ordered 2 boxes.

I also carry DoubleTap .38 Special +P ammo instead of Speer Gold dot ammo in my snub nose revolver. They use a Gold Dot bullet but instead of paying $21/20 rounds you pay only $26/50 rounds. I tested both and both are equally accurate in my revolver. Actually, the DoubleTap ammo delivers more velocity than the Speer ammo. Since both are accurate and both use a Gold dot bullet why not buy the one that's more than half the price as the other?

I also carry "The FBI Load", a 158gr LSWC/HP round. I like the Remington version best because it expands reliable and is accurate. (Part # R38S12) I find myself carrying that round more than anything else since I was able to buy 4 boxes at a good price a few months back.

The dude called me yesterday and said he's out. Did I want to wait, switch to something else or get a refund? I said let the order ride for 30 days and call me. I wonder why his web site that takes orders can't keep itself updated so it would have shown me 0 available.

Most places I have checked are out of these short barrel loads. I'd like some of the SB 357 myself.
