Hello,

Some of you may remember my recent post regarding my new S&W M25-14 45ACP that had a few problems out of the box using .45 Auto Rim. Tight chambers being one of the issues.
Since that time some things have come to light. The "Tight chambers" were not tight at all after having the factory check them out.

I then wised up and reopened the box of Double Tap.45 Auto rim cartridges, Lot #001701, Nov. 07."
I purchased this box several weeks ago directly from them. After checking the cartridges by inserting each one into each chamber, I found FIVE (5)that would not chamber due to excessive case diameter at the rear of the case and those that were just "Snug" froze up the chamber.

I called them friday but haven't heard back from them but will keep you apprised. I was trying this brand out as a carry possibility with the Sheriff's Office.

DO NOT put these rounds into a carry revolver without running each one in a box through each chamber of your weapon and never force them. They can and will seize up the weapon requiring more than your hand to eject them.
Thank goodness for good ol S&W!

ALERT = ALIVE

That's good advice with any ammo. Only takes a minute to check them all. Never know!
