Many people seem to like the Double Tap 125 gr +P loading, which wasn't mentioned yet. Price wise, they seem to be a good value. You can try the WWB personal defense 125 gr +P JHPs for a practice load, and they'll work (although aren't ideal) as a carry load in a pinch. Your local Walmart should carry them. I think that they are around $17/50. I never had bullet pull with them in my 337, but as flop shank suggests, make sure you test any load that you plan to carry for such in your particular gun (your manual will contain this advice as well).

With your revolver, you shouldn't use my favorite snubby load: Remington LSWCHP. I would suggest Speer's 135gr SB. Cordially, Jack

Yeah, try the Speer +P SB. The Speer SB loads really are ideal for these guns. I use the SB .357s in my 360.
Don't carry a gun because of what may happen today. Carry because once, just once, and at the least likely time imaginable, you may run into the worst monster you ever could imagine. Be their worst nightmare and resist them with all the stubbornness that our pioneer ancestors posessed. To do less is to be unamerican.

My 340 PD is loaded this way: First 2 up are Corbon DPX 38+P (110's). Gives me 2 quick shots. Next 3 are Double Tap 38+P (125's).
