Over the years, I have washed a bit more ammo than I care to admit, even some hand loads. They have all always fired. I might not carry them for PD rounds, but I would shoot them. $6
A J-frame in the hand is worth two in the safe.

Just run them through the dryer and everything should be okay. No, No, No, don't. Just kidding.

dont' shoot them rapid fire, just in case, but i would be very surprised if they didn't shoot. i THINK the temp to cook off most lead azide or lead styphanate primers is about 350 f. i doubt a dryer gets that hot, but i wouldn't care to bet a new dryer on it.

A couple years back I started a thread here about a Speer Gold Dot 230-gr .45ACP round that went thru the wash and dry cycles. I announced that I was going to repeat the wash/dry exposure a second time and wondered aloud if it would fire. Dozens of responses were mixed. It went bang, exactly like all the others from the same box that never went thru either the water or being banged around in the heat. NRA Member, Regular Army 1985-1993, Deputy Sheriff 1982-1985 "We conclude that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms. That right existed prior to the formation of the new government under the Constitution and was premised on the private use of arms for activities such as hunting and self-defense, the latter being understood as resistance to either private lawlessness or the depredations of a tyrannical government." - U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit, March 9, 2007 "...what is not debatable is that it is not the role of this Court to pronounce the Second Amendment extinct. We affirm the judgment of the Court of Appeals. It is so ordered." --Justice Antonin Gregory Scalia, 26 June 2008, DC v. Heller

I've wash a few speed strips loaded with PD ammo over the years. I just fire them at the next range trip. Usually at the end of the handloads session. It keeps me in the "Shoot what you carry" mode . No problems yet. However I am leary of carring them, after they have been washed, as PD rounds .
