Just picked up a few of these off fleabay for my L-frame. No instructions! Can't find them on the Safariland site; can anyone explain how to load these up with ammo, please? TIA, Nick.

Drop your rounds into the loader, base down, bullets up. Holding the loader body in one hand, the knob in the other, press the bullet noses firmly up against the underside of a desk or shelf, then rotate the knob clockwise until it clicks. To load the gun, hold the loader body, NOT the knob, and push firmly straight in.

It important that all 6 cartridges are straight and fully bottomed.
The easiest way is to use the plastic tray made for loading speed loaders, where you drop 6 cartridges nose down and put the speed loader over them.

After some practice, I've learned to load them by putting the pad of my left hand over the cartridges in the speed loader, push and twist right.

Shooting on dusty ranges, I've also found that dust in the Comp IIIs will cause malfunctions, and any lube will collect dust. I just wash them in dishwater, rinse and dry to restore function.

That's the easiest way to load any Safariland and works anywhere without needing special trays or hard surfaces.

Las armas son necesarias
Pero nadie sabe cuando;
Asi no, si andas paseando,
Y de noche sobre todo,
Debes llevarlo de modo
Que al salir, salga cortando.

OK! Was able to hold the rounds down with the side of my palm, while pushing and twisting right with my other. Works! Thanks all. Nick.
