It is cheap, but is it clean or dirty; passable or total junk?

If you're talking about the aluminum stuff, it's good range ammo. Some say it's cleaner, but I think it's on par with winchester white box.

I haven't shot any in years, but back when Natchez had it for $4.88 a box, I shot thousands of rounds of it. Fine stuff. Smiler

The aluminum stuff that is; I don't truck with Blazer brass . . .

Shot-placement is king. Adequate penetration is queen. Everything else is angels dancing on the heads of pins.

In my experience 9mm Blazer Brass seems to have less power than some other inexpensive range ammo I've used such as WWB and Geco. In my 9mm M&P ejected Blazer Bras cases often hit me. doesn't happen with other brands.

I shoot, therefore I am.

One of our OK Master shooters shot nothing but it in competition last year: no complaints, and it made minor power.

Good stuff. I have shot lots of 9mm Blazer over the years. Never had any problems. Have also shot 1000s of 40, 10mm, and 45 ACP Blazer with no problems.

It's not as dirty as cheap reloads, and it's pretty accurate. However, the brass Blazer is much more likely to be reliable than the aluminum stuff, at least in my 9mm autos (CZs).

I've tried to use it (aluminum Blazer)in my CZ85 and it often sticks sideways in the extraction not fully ejecting the spent case, not with brass anything else...seems unique to the CZ, any ideas why or how to resolve it?

The aluminum stuff is just fine, but stay away from the brass. I have had from 18-50 malfunctions per thousand rounds from the brass stuff through my Glocks. Okay if you want to practice your TRB's though.

Recently shot 100 rds of the Blazer aluminum, 115 gr FMJ in my M&P 9c. Was shooting at 7 & 15 yrds for defense practice, every round fired, ejected & hit where I aimed. Cleanng was a snap even with the additional 100 rds of WWB I fired.

Aluminum Blazer stuff is my favorite factory ammo - never had a dud or a Malf. with any of it in .38Sp.,9mm, or .45acp.

I prefer my own handloads, but will always choose alum. Blazer when some place/situation requires me to show up with factory fodder.

IMO, it's far better ammo than WWB, UMC, and most other low-end factory stuff. Glock must like it, too - that's what came in the little envelope with my G-26.
