I've been using Winchester's Platinum Tip .44mag 250grain loading since its introduction in my Marlin 1894 for deer and hogs,I've never chrongraphed these loads out of my 20" levergun, but have used them with great success, with my Ghostring sights on my 94 it groups the big 250s in a 1 and a 1/2" group at a 100 yards,I've grouped them in my 629 4" at 50 yards off the bench at get about 2 and a 1/4" groups but this not my normal carry load for my 629.My 57 6" I normally carry Silvertips or Golddots for social work and in the woods either a 210 grain Hornady XTP over a heavy dose of H-110 or a 220 grain Keith SWC in bear country,I stumbled across a case of .41magnum Platinum Tips in the 240 grain weight in a local gun shop today that is going out of business and purchased them at a steal, has anyone tried this loading out of their .41mags,if so what are your thoughts on this loading and what results have you had with them,it'll be friday before I can fire these rounds and sight my 57 in with them,I was extremely pleased with the results of the .44 loading out of my levergun and sixgun.I think it'll be a extremely good factory loading for my 6" 57,what do you folks think?

I have shot the 41 mag load and it does shoot pretty good. I had a super 14 TC and it put them into 1.5 inches at 50 yards for 5 shots. it is still comfortable to shoot in a 6.5 inch blackhawk. it is pretty snappy in a 4 inch M-57
