I've shot it in most calibers though not .38 spl. I consider it at least as good as WWB from WallyWorld. Should be fine practice ammo.
Big bang, much smash'em.

S&B is about as good as any of the cheaper range ammo and better than some. I haven't shot any of the .38 special but have burned a lot of 45 and 9mm. If it's cheaper than Winchester white box I will buy it.

I've heard the same thing (tight primer pockets) said about their 9mm and .40S&W ammunition. In fact, I've read from several members of this forum that they don't recommend S&B ammo if you are planning on reloading the cases.

I bought some it a month or so ago when on sale. Only have shot about 100 rounds of it so far. Seems to be on par with UMC 158LRN and 130MC,haven't tried to load any of it yet. I have reloaded their 357 brass with no problems. The only tight primer pockets I have ran into is in the 45ACP. I primarily load 99% of what I shoot but when I see 45,357 or 38's on sale I usually get a case or so just to have.

I've shot S&B .38 Special ammo and have no issues to report. It's as good as any other inexpensive factory ammo. I've also used the brass for reloading and it works fine.
