If you own a .32 auto you might be pleased to know that Buffalo Bore is now producing +P rounds for that great little hide-away gun. Take a look at this...
.32 ACP +P 75 gr Hard Cast FN @ 1150 fps, 220 ft lbs I don't know if Tim Sundles will be bringing out a FMJ-FN yet so will keep an eye on his website. If you happen to own a Seecamp and you decide to try this load out, please drop back here and let us all know how it performed. I'm hoping like hell Tim decides to go down in caliber as far as the .25 auto. Hey, a guy can wish, can't he? |

I asked Tim about this new round in my .32 Seecamp and he does not recommend it - suggested I get a KelTec. I'm thinking about doing that - just for the .32 +P!

Yep now you mention it the Seecamp has a rep for being a little fussy, I believe they were made around the Win Silvertip. It's interesting you're thinking of buying a new gun just to go wiith the round. Says a lot for the ammo. |

The new round will feed and shoot ok, just a problem with the unsupported chamber! I sold my Seecamp, my favorite pocket gun for years, but I no longer ever carry it and was going to give it to my wife - but too heavy for her. The boss has since rethought the heavy part and wants my old 442! If she does that, I'll just have to buy another gun, maybe a new PPS! |

Oh hell, road_king, my heart goes out to you. Having to buy a new gun with a perfectly legit reason. Heh heh. Let's know what you come up with.

I'm happy with the .32 Auto ammo Fiocchi has. It's a 60gr SJHP round rated at 1200 fps and 205 ft/lbs of energy, although, a 75gr bullet sounds tempting. I own a KT P-32 and carry that Fiocchi ammo.

Hi Arch. I have to say I've never owned or fired a .32 auto but because I'm pretty interested in these new loads Buffalo Bore is bringing out and saw this over at their website I just thought to post it here for those who didn't know. Your Fiocchi ammo sounds fine, I've read a lot of good things on them. But if you do try the BB stuff please let us know how it goes. |

This load looks pretty interesting. My wife, two coworkers and myself all carry a Keltec P32, usually with Fiocchi or S&B ball ammo. I'd be intersted in what pistol BB is using for their testing? If there are no feeding or other issues with the KelTec I can see all four of us purchasing several boxes of this new ammo for CCW use. Every little bit helps.

Don't know what the test gun was yet, Richard, but I believe the owner of Buffalo Bore is going to drop by in the Bufflao Bore Redux thread in a day or so. We can ask Tim then. |

I saw a nice little Beretta .32 with a CT laser grip at a gun show yesterday for $475. The dealer was really pushing it and I said, "sell it to someone who doesn't know it's not a good defense round." But after reading these posts I'm beginning to wonder. I'm going to start carrying in an ankle holster and that would be perfect. Is the .32 really considered semi-good for defense? I'd really appreciate some tutoring. (my other carry piece, when I have a long coat on, is my Kimber Ultra carry with CT with 185gr JHP Hornadys.)

The .32ACP will get the job done. It's always about shot placement more than anything else, and the top quality .32's are known for their outstanding accuracy i.e. Beretta, Browning, FN, Colt, Walther, Mauser. |

I would carry a .32 if I didn't have a Kel-tec P3AT. I prefer .380, but it's probably not much better than a .32. Like was said, shot placement is the key. Heck, it was good enough for Leroy Brown!
Don't carry a gun because of what may happen today. Carry because once, just once, and at the least likely time imaginable, you may run into the worst monster you ever could imagine. Be their worst nightmare and resist them with all the stubbornness that our pioneer ancestors posessed. To do less is to be unamerican. |
