Loading some 45 acp 230 RNL for basic range fodder.

Loaded the 231/HP38 recipe around 5.1~5.3 for years with great results.

Having trouble finding replacement.

Have a bit of "Universal Clays"....

unsure of just what recipe and which caliber would serve...

Given the standard revolver games of ICORE and Steel Challenge, would appreciate some pet recipes.

Does it work well in 9mm? or 40?

How about 44 special/mag?

Used a bit of just plain old "Clays" years ago but don't see it around any more either.

Grew fond of TiteGroup. That's hard to come by these days.

So I got this jug of "International Clays".....and I ain't a shot gun guy......

tips/comments/recipes/pithy advise/helpful hints appreciated.

I have been wanting one of these for a while. I finally found one locally and fondled it. Wow, what a disappointment :( I know they are lower cost, $475 at my LGS but it felt even cheaper than that. The finish was basically black paint. The safety felt like it was an afterthought that could fall off at any moment. The action felt like there was a handful of sand in it. Does anyone have one or any first hand experience with a ranch hand? I welcome all opinions.

What is it with young people today? Did we fail them? Are we responsible? I don't get it.

Have two twenty somethings that work for me. We talk. They listen. They forget. We talk again. They forget.

They are so concerned about all the goings on around the business that they don't pay attention to what they need to do.

I have talked to them many times. I tell them exactly what they need to do to succeed.

I've been nice and I've been mad. I don't yell or cuss. And when I correct them, they act like it's the end of the world. Yet both look to me for leadership and the guy that has all the answers.

They can't seem to grasp the concept of teamwork and attention to detail.

I understand what it's like to be young and strong. On top of the world without a care. But when I was their age and an older more experiences person spoke, I listened. I still do.

I don't think it's me that 's wrong. I'm very good at managing and motivating people. But these two are testing me.

But have wanted a real handgun for awhile. With the recent events and climate we are currently experiencing, it was time to purchase.
It also helped winning a $100 gift certificate from a local gun shop and my son purchasing a Glock 9mm. His soon to be Bride and in-laws are avid gun enthusiasts.

I know I need a 1/2" riser anyways to clear the magpul rear site when it is laid flat. I was going to just pickup a 1/2" riser but thought I should look into the quick release first in case it adds height. Thx for any help!
