Default mod34 Defines "near NIB" Different Than I Do

Recently purchased a Colt Peacemaker described as "near NIB" from this gentleman. Gun arrived with pitting on both cylinders, corroded color case hardening on most of the frame, rust stains on the hammer, and missing a screw on the bottom of the frame. I asked for a refund & was denied. He claimed that the gun he sent had none of those flaws and was not missing a screw. Feel free to PM me for a screenshot of his listing & photos of what he considers "near NIB". The first negative experience I've had in many years on this forum.

I refuse to get into a pissing contest on a forum with someone I don't know. I have been a good, upstanding forum member for at least 14 years without much trouble and without any negative feedback that I know of. In full disclosure, this is what I responded to Steve with via PM.........I was prepared to make this right until his "wonderful" feedback. You all can be the judge, I think I'll take a break from this forum....

"Thank you kindly for the awesome feedback, you just saved me $250! I had put together a proposal to you suggesting that I not take the gun back but that, in good faith and forum etiquette that I reimburse you for your trouble and "issue". Your wonderful feedback confirmed that I instead say, ************ so thank you for saving me the money. Yes, I will copy and paste this to my response to your feedback!"
