Ever seen a $800 Remington 870?
This was my project last month. Heres the before when I got the gun. And the after when I was done.

Everyone is probably getting tired of seeing it but I am pleased to show it as I have wanted one for quite some time.
A NIB Model 58 found at the OGCA Saturday.

29-2 S prefix
I got this about a week ago, for a shooter. I'm not into collecting. I didn't want to buy a new .44 with the lock.

I like it, the one I am building is going to have my quadrail from Omega on it. I like their rail, and I really liked it on my Sport but I have been getting into this shooting things I can only see with my scope and a free float barrel is better for that. But the one I am building will have the quadrail and the co-witnessed red dot and I know it will be hell-on-wheels

+1 on the hogue grip for the AR. Just got a new gas block in but still waiting on the Smith Enterprise DC muzzle brake to come in before going to work on it. Got a Savage 10 .243 last Thurs that will be either a .260 or 6.5 CM before too long. (Already have a Stevens 200 .243 just waiting on the custom barrel to come for it.)

Bought a Smith & Wesson 317-3 3" last week off the web. Seemed like a pretty good deal at $450.
Put 60 rounds of Blazers down the pipe on Sunday.
No pics yet, I'll see if I can grab a couple later.
BTW, nice site you folks have here!
Pics added................
New (to me) 317-3................
Three lightweights..........S&W 422, S&W 317 and Gene Wiseman linerless folder.

A couple things came in today from Cabelas
5 = MTM RS-50
1 = MTM R-100

I was suppose to order the MTM R-100-Mag instead of the R-100 so I called Cabelas and they are going to ship me the correct one no charge, plus I don't have to send the wrong one back. I will definitely order from them again.
I also got this from Amazon

Very Cool, I got a bullet puller from Frankfort arms and a Western Rivers game call with furry fake animal and the OTIS M4/M16 5.56 cleaning kit.
Then my cousin came over and gave me a new package of the Otis cleaning Patches. Still trying to get my pictures working.

It is a switch to turn off the built-in Crimson Trace laser if you don't want to use it.

I bought a Burris PEPR scope mount for my AR. I found the scope I used on my last AR for Pdog shooting. So I mounted it on my Sport and as soon as it quits raining ( I live in the Seattle area ) I'm going to hit the 100 yrd range. I want to see what the Sport can do with factory ammo at 100 yrds for accuracy. I'm still fighting with myself about starting to hand load again. But I've got about 3k of 223 brass just sittin in and box doing nothing! I really should put them to work.

After reading through the "range shooterss" thread I went to the range and really focused on my bench rest shooting. I could see how having this heavy trigger that drags can hurt my shot.
I just ordered this Timney Trigger AR-15 Competition Small Pin 3lb

I just posted this in Grover's free float handguard thread.
Apex Machining Company extended carbine hand guard. I found a Gen 1 model on clearance on their website and snatched it up. It arrived in the mail today.

Top cut out to accommodate A2 front sight/gas block.

Lastest purchase is a magpul CTR (OD) buttsock, BCM Gunfighter charging handle, VTAC (OD) sling, UTG quad rail, and 1 case of ammo (on a waiting list). I'm still waiting on the CTR and quad rail to arrive.

Well how about I throw a monkey-wrench into this thread. These are the guns I just sold:

Beretta 92fs

Glock 17 Gen4

Glock 19 Gen4

Ruger KLCR .357
I sold off the Glocks & Beretta because of:

S&W M&P 9fs.
I sold the Ruger KLCR because it served no real purpose. I liked the little snubbie, but won't miss the punishment. I'll eventually get a S&W 357 revolver with an exposed hammer and longest barrel I can get. I don't know much about any revolver, let alone S&W revolvers, to make an intelligent choice. It will be a while.
