Thought these might interest those who ask here about knives:

Buck Model 119 Special (a very good knife value, in my opinion):

Fallkniven Northern Lights series. Offers aftermarket sheaths, too. Cannot pronounce "FELL-ky-neeven" right, though.:

Fallkniven F-1. This is the official knife for pilots of the Swedish Royal Air Force. The reviewer is wrong that the center core steel is high carbon and not stainless. Actually, it is VG-10 stainless The sides are 420HC steel, also stainless.

USMC Ka-Bar. The reviewer cannot pronounce Camillus properly, and in fact, it was Camillus that introduced the design, although Ka-Bar and others have made it over the years. Camillus is now out of business, so the Ka-Bar is the one to look for.

It's in Italian, but this knife is in my pocket 99% of the time and has withstood some insane abuse. You can't beat the manufacturer warranty either.

I've got a 1 of 1 prototype that was accepted as an official SWAT team knife. Where would I show that off on here?

Start a topic and post the pics, just like you would a gun.

Some will probably want to see it.

YouTube - Gerber Combat Folder: Something Wicked This Way Comes

Gerber A-F combat folder. The owner has sharpened the false edge on his, which will make it illegal in most locales. Good review, otherwise.

If any of our LEO members see this, would you arrest for this knife in its original form, with the back of the blade not honed? I've been reluctant to carry mine outside my home, lest some cop try to claim that it's a "dagger", legally speaking.
